American Electronic Warfare Associates has booked a $466.7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the U.S. Navy to provide advanced aircraft research, development, test and evaluation, or AARDT&E, services for the service branch and non-Department of Defense partner nations.
Scope of the Contract
The DOD said Monday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers the procurement of services such as R&D, management, design, documentation, fabrication, installation, integration, test, evaluation, operation and maintenance of integrated battlespace simulation and testing capabilities, laboratories and facilities.

The California, Maryland-based company will perform 90 percent of the work in Patuxent, and the remaining 10 percent in Hollywood, both in Maryland. The project is slated for completion in June 2030.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division is the contracting activity for the competitively procured contract, which received only one offer. It will not obligate any amount at the time of the award; instead, funds will be allocated as individual orders are placed.
